Catchy by SphereOne

Catchy, in plain answers.

What it does, how you get access, and what your host needs to own.

What is Catchy?

Catchy is a private, server-side Node SDK for checking purchase approval and current checkout evidence before an existing purchase function runs. It is developed by SphereOne. Catchy is a working name, previously called Goodnod on this website.

How do I get the Catchy SDK?

Request authorized access to the privately packed SDK and setup help. It requires Node 22.16 or newer. Public npm installation and a hosted production purchase/model API are not available yet.

What does my backend need to provide?

Your host provides authentication, independent reads of the original approval and current checkout, a configured semantic gate, and a synchronous atomic approval/budget claim. Durable authority, idempotency and reconciliation remain the host's responsibility; an in-memory claim does not establish cross-process protection.

What results can Catchy return?

The wrapper returns approved, blocked or needs_review, separately from the execution outcome not_started, succeeded or unknown. It invokes the existing purchase function after checks pass; do not invoke that function again from the result. Unknown execution requires reconciliation before another payment attempt, not an automatic retry.

Which model does Catchy use?

The host configures the semanticGate callback and any model it uses. The wrapper does not automatically select a model or invoke Jev. Model access and operation are part of the host's setup.

Does the hosted playground execute purchases?

No. The playground evaluates known synthetic cases and moves no funds. Its playground endpoint is not a customer purchase API or a hosted production model service. This marketing site also does not execute purchases or connect accounts.
